About Us

Mary Nell
History
Mary Nells was founded by Tamina Wells and officially opened its doors on October 12, 2020. Driven by a passion and the pressing need for facilities dedicated to lower-functioning special needs individuals, Tamina established Mary Nells to provide the care and support this community deserves. The name "Mary Nells" honors Tamina's late mother, Mary Nell, who was a nurse for over 40 years. Mary Nell's dedication to her patients and her practice of bringing young Tamina to work instilled in her daughter a lifelong commitment to serving the special needs and elderly populations. This early experience taught Tamina to see everyone through a compassionate lens, recognizing the inherent value in all individuals.
